GEOTECHNICS AND FOUNDATION ENGINEERING

1. Engineering Subsoil Investigations.

These are of fundamental importance for the continued stability of engineering structures such as private or indutrial building, roads, highways, bridges, jetties and dams etc.

2. Geophysical/Geological and Hydrological Investigations

Using our geophysical sounding techiques and other methods, we undertake investigations to reveal gound water accumulation, declineation of salt/fresh water interface, declination of strata, and serch for mineral resources of an area including well logging. We also carry out above water studies for dredging and other realted purpose.

3. Foundation Piling Works.
On sites, which have very weak soils to significant depth, piles are the engineering device, which allows the construction of building, bridges and roads to be made without fear of failure.

4. Construction of Pile Caps.
Based on our experience, not all construction companies can correctly position the designed superstructure on piles. It is therefore a great advantage to clients when we are retained after completion of piles to undertake the construction of the necessary pile caps, ground beams or slab in consonance with structure engineers design.

5. Vibroflotation Compaction/Soil Stabilization
This is a scientific process of foundation soil improvement for serious construction works and covers a fairly wide area of operation for different engineering purpose viz use of ground anchorage and grouting.

6. Ground waterControl and Dewatery Systems.
We carry this out in conjuction with our environmental division and find appication on engineering site that requires groundwater lowering.

7. Mineral Exploration
We are also engaged in all aspect of mineral exploration and expliotation including industrial mineral procesing.

8. Dredging
We carry out waterway clearing, sand stockpiling and sand filling plus other realted dredging operations.
